We’re comfortable doing this because we have always prioritized product quality as well as our trade partners’ satisfaction, and ultimately the consumers’. If, for any reason, a retail customer is not satisfied or if a new regulatory mandate requires a different product assortment, we will take the products back — no questions asked.
Moreover, our proactive and consistent communication with channel partners about regulatory changes is a responsibility we place significant value in. This, tied with our ever-growing sales team which covers all 50 states, allows us to effectively support our partners wherever and whenever they need us.
Shaping Regulatory Environments
We’ve undertaken a leadership role in the creation of sensible standards and regulations for emerging industries. For vapor, our thoughtful analysis and internal marketing standards served as the basis for the Vapor Technology Association (VTA) Marketing Standards for Membership and our work on the VTA Board of Directors puts the interests of the industry’s manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and small business owners first.
Widely considered an authority on the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, we understand that upcoming changes to the vapor category can leave any store manager with a feeling of uncertainty. However, our firm commitment to the industry and all current and future category relationships should put retailers and distributors at ease. We remain prepared for upcoming changes as we continue to invest millions of dollars in Food & Drug Administration (FDA) applications for dozens of our vapor SKUs that were on the market prior to August 8, 2016. We also do not anticipate any roadblocks which would cause us to remove any of these products from the market after our applications are submitted.
